When Herod Came To Georgia will receive a staged reading in Dallas by MBS Productions, Inc., Feb. 19-25, 2018.

I Don't Know has just been published in BEST TEN-MINUTE PLAYS OF 2017, the fifth of his plays in the series. Fightbook will be published in the 2018 edition.
James McLindon is a member of the Nylon Fusion Theatre Company in New York and have just been named a Next Voices Fellow at the New Repertory Theater in Boston for next seaason. His play, Comes a Faery, was developed at the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Sean Daniels directing, and was a Finalist for the Humana Festival. Faery was premiered last fall at the New Ohio Theatre, produced by the Nylon Fusion Theatre Company. Salvation, was produced in New York by the Hudson Stage Company, directed by Giovanna Sardelli, to critical acclaim in the New York Times and elsewhere. It received a second production this past winter in New York by the Nu.ance Theatre and John DeSotelle Studio. Faith, was premiered at Local Theater Company in Boulder, directed by Pesha Rudnick who helmed Eve Ensler’s new play at the ART earlier this season. Dead and Buried, was a semifinalist for the O’Neill and was premiered by the Detroit Rep. Distant Music, is published by Dramatic Publishing and was featured as a Main Stage staged reading at the Great Plains Theatre Conference. His one-act plays, Laying Off and Knuckleheads, were produced at the Samuel French Festival and Broken, I Don't Know and Fightbook at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Broken, Safe, Squirrelly, Japanese Schoolgirl Night, Ebenezer Creek and The Wilderness, which were all finalists for the Heideman Prize. His plays have been developed and/or produced at theaters such as the Abingdon, hotINK Festival, Irish Repertory, Lark Play Development Center, Samuel French Ten-Minute Play Festival, CAP21, Emerging Artists Theatre, Love Creek Productions, PlayPenn, Victory Gardens, Prop Thtr, Lyric Stage, Boston Playwrights Theatre, Colony Theatre, Theatricum Botanicum, Circus Theatricals, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Seven Devils Playwrights Conference Telluride Playwrights Festival, and Arkansas Rep. His plays have been published by Dramatic Publishing, Smith and Kraus, Original Works Publishing and Level 4 Press.
